Axel Rudi Pell

Axel Rudi Pell nasceu em Bochum, Alemanha, no dia 27/06/1960. Começou a tocar guitarra em 1972 depois de ver Ritchie Blackmore quebrar sua guitarra na televisão. Tocou em algumas bandas amadoras como Devil's Death, Silverstones, Detroit e Firebird até 1984, quando formou o Steeler. Ele saiu dessa banda em 1988 e em 1989 começou sua carreira solo. Lançou neste ano o disco Wild Obsession, que tinha nos vocais Charlie Huhn (ex-Gary Moore, Victory) e na bateria Jörg Michael (ex-Rage, Grave Digger, Running Wild, atual Stratovarius), além de Volker Krawczak, que tocou com Axel Rudi Pell nos dois primeiros discos do Steeler, no baixo. Jörg Michael ficou na banda até 1998 e Volker Krawczak continua com Axel até hoje.
