Popa Chubby

Ted Horowitz (nascido em 31 de março de 1960, The Bronx , New York , Estados Unidos ), que joga com o nome artístico de Popa Chubby (uma brincadeira com a gíria "pop um gordinho" idioma, ou seja, para ter uma ereção ), é um americano de blues elétrico cantor, compositor e guitarrista

Nascido o filho de um dono de loja de doces, aos treze anos Horowitz começou a tocar bateria ; pouco tempo depois, ele começou a ouvir a música do Rolling Stones e começou a tocar guitarra . Embora ele cresceu na década de 1970, Horowitz foi influenciado por artistas dos anos 1960, incluindo Jimi Hendrix e Creme , entre outros. Nos seus vinte anos, embora ele principalmente tocava música blues, ele também trabalhou como backing para punk rock poeta Richard Hell . Horowitz veio pela primeira vez a atenção do público depois de ganhar um nacional de talentos de blues patrocinado pela KLON, uma rádio pública estação em Long Beach, Califórnia .
